Simple. Personal. Satisfying and Practical.

This cookbook is where Food That Anchors began.

It was created out of desire to make everyday food feel nourishing and approachable - without overcomplicating the process or compromising on ingredients.

Inside, you’ll find recipes that use ingredients you likely already have. I actually make these for my family or grew up eating them. They are not recipes designed to impress or overwhelm. They’re meant to be returned to - the kind you make again and again, adjust to your rhythm, and your own way.

Food That Anchors is your invitation to savor the moment

We thought efficiency was the answer to bringing a sense of control and balance to a busy lifestyle. The cookbook was inspired by a season of organized rhythm of projects, events, and social engagements, fueled by simple, delicious, quick meals. However, we missed the deeper nourishment that only comes from being present. Simply put, the on-the-go rhythm stops being the driver, and food becomes an invitation to savor the moments and the experiences, beyond the flavors. That is where food truly anchors us.
